There is supposed to be some sort of gentlemens agreement amomgst the Prez's and ADs that no one from the same state as a current member institution would be invited to join the SEC. Same reason why clemson and GaTech wont be invited. FSU doesnt really add any market presence to the SEC either. UF pretty much covers the state.
