Georgia game

Georgia will be the away team in 2011 and their seats will be on the east
side of Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.

Question? Are the Gators the home team this year in Jax? I seem to recall
UGAly being the home team last year.

Florida senior quarterback John Brantley is probable for Saturday's game
against Georgia, UF coach Will Muschamp said at his Monday news conference.

Up next

Who: Florida (4-3, 2-3) vs. No. 22 Georgia (5-2, 4-1)
Where: EverBank Field, Jacksonville
When: 3:30 p.m. Saturday
TV: CBS

"We feel like John will be ready to go for the game," Muschamp said.
"Getting him back is going to be a huge psychological shot for our football
team. I really believe that.''

Brantley, who has missed the past two games after suffering a high ankle
sprain just before halftime of the Alabama game on Oct. 1, will practice
today. Brantley is expected to progress throughout the week but is limited
Monday, Muschamp said.

Freshman quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel will also get
practice time this week, Muschamp said. The No. 2 QB if Brantley starts will
be determined during practice this week, the coach said.

In other notes:

Linebacker/end Ronald Powell (neck) practiced last week and is expected to
play this week. Every player should be back on the practice field Monday,
except cornerback Jeremy Brown (knee). ... Coaches looked at players at
different positions during the bye week, but Muschamp did not say there were
any lineup changes. ... "Where I played (Georgia) has no bearing at all on
this game," Muschamp said.

Series: Florida has defeated Georgia in 18 of the last 21 meetings,
including 11 of the last 13. Georgia last won in 2007.

Did you know?: Florida and Georgia are two of the three winningest programs
in the SEC since 2002. Georgia is second at 74.4 percent (93-32) while
Florida is third at 73.6 percent (92-33). LSU is first at 79.4 percent
(100-26).

UF buzz: Florida junior kicker Caleb Sturgis has connected on all 19 PAT
tries and is 15-of-16 in field goals.

Georgia buzz: Georgia sophomore quarterback Aaron Murray could be in some
rare company atop the SEC record charts. In 20 career games, Murray has
accounted for 4,866 total yards, an average of 243.3 yards per game. If he
plays every game the remainder of his career at that same average (not
counting bowl games, would be 29 more games), he would account for 11,922
yards, which would place him second in league history. His current 235.1
passing yards per game average would carry out to 11,520 yards, which would
be just eight yards behind SEC career leader David Greene of Georgia, who
had 11,528 yards from 2001-04.
