A third man was sent to the hospital with what police said appeared to be a broken nose, apparently caused by being kicked in the head. The fight was captured on surveillance cameras, but the video is considered evidence and was not being released on Monday. _____ According to the Gainesville Police Department reports, Tygh Landon Bailes, 35, of 3303 SW 62nd Lane, and Alexander Gerald Vickers, 25, of Lakeland, were booked into the Alachua County jail within hours of the fight. Bailes was charged with felony battery, and Vickers was charged with simple battery, which is a misdemeanor. The fight came as the University of Florida lost to Florida State. GPD spokeswoman Cpl. Angelina Valuri said Bailes, a UF fan, was angry at the outcome of the game. She said Vickers is an FSU fan. In the men's arrest reports, Officer Farrah Lormil wrote that the fight broke out after Bailes was so forcefully pushed in the chest by Vickers that he fell back into an elevator. "This action caused numerous participants to become involved in a fight with several people trying to break it up," Lormil wrote. According to witnesses and the video, Bailes went over to a man who had fallen to his knees after being punched by several other people, and Bailes kicked the man in his head. Lormil wrote that the man fell to the floor bleeding from several cuts to his face and with a possibly broken nose. Police said Bailes was identified by witnesses who described him in part as wearing a pair of distinctive orange Gator pants. Bailes is a one of the founders of Pennington & Bailes, a collegiate sportswear company that got its start six years ago offering distinctive, game day pants for men. Following their arrests, Bailes and Vickers refused to answer questions about the fight. Bailes told police he was invoking his right to remain silent while Vickers refused to answer questions after telling police he did not understand his rights.
