I can't wait for Walker to graduate. I believe that his friction with Calathes was a factor in Calathes departure.
I think that he is a ball hog at the end of crucial games. For every desperation shot he makes, he misses another 4 or 5. He didn't even look to get the ball inside last year against Butler, when our bigs were shooting about 99%. Instead, he hogged the ball for an off-balance 3 pointer. Good-bye Final Four. I share the sentiment of the pro scout last year who watched us play and thought that Walker ought to come off the bench and Wilbekin should be starting. I would only add that I would put Rosario ahead of Walker in that rotation this year. -Zeb On Feb 10, 2012, at 10:13 AM, Shane Ford wrote: > A look at who's not hot this week in SEC basketball. > > > > South Carolina: The Gamecocks have lost four straight and are alone in last > place in the SEC with a 1-8 record following a 69-57 loss to Tennessee. > > Tony Mitchell: The Alabama junior forward has been suspended indefinitely > from the Tide for conduct detrimental to the team. > > Erving Walker: The Florida senior point guard is 3 of his last 18 from the > floor and 1 for his last 8 from 3-point range. > > > -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us
