Ken,

This is an interesting question. I am not sure that pro-bono work would
necessarily be an NCAA violation. I believe that an attorney is required to do
some pro-bono work (perhaps we could get an attorney to comment.) Consequently,
it may not be a benefit that is unavailable to other students.

I have a question about Huntley Johnson. How is it that all these players
magically go to one guy? And how is it these players, many from very poor
families can afford an attorney like Huntley?

Not trying to imply anything, but doesn't this appear suspicious to anyone
else? How does it work, is there a pre-paid student legal service, I have one
of those through my employer. Huntley can not offer his services pro-bono as
that would be an NCAA violation. My feeble inquiring mind wants to know.

Leonard refused to make any statements, but did tell Prince, "I never hit her.
I just wanted her to leave."

Leonard was booked into the Alachua County jail at about 9:30 p.m. and held
overnight. He made his first court appearance from the jail via a closed
circuit television system at 9 a.m. Thursday. During the court appearance,
Leonard was released on his own recognizance by Alachua County Judge Tom
Jaworski.

The judge also told Leonard and his attorney, Huntley Johnson, that Leonard was
to have no contact with the woman and that he must maintain a separate
residence until the charge is resolved.
