That's fine. I was cautioning not to put anything in writing that questioned his practice of law.

I think the thread was more about the possibility of improper benefits to an athlete. That being said, I find the discussion about him charging differential fees particularly interesting relative to the NCAA improper benefits issue. I know of several attorneys that do that with most everyone they represent. If the person is poor, they will charge according to the person’s ability to pay. I suspect that this is not an uncommon practice. How then would the NCAA determine the “fair market price” for legal services? Impugning the character and honesty of an attorney may be cause for a slander law suite. A. Leon Polhill, Gator "I was gratified to be able to answer promptly, and I did. I don’t think that is a violation of NCAA rules. How is it that all these players magically go to one guy? And how is it these players, many from very poor families can afford an attorney like Huntley? Not trying to imply anything, but doesn't this appear suspicious to anyone else? How does it work, is there a pre-paid student legal service, I have one of those through my employer. Huntley can not offer his services pro-bono as that would be an NCAA violation. My feeble inquiring mind wants to know.
