My son Shane was in the marching band his freshman year. UF has summer band 
camps also, but they may not market them as aggresively as fsu does. My son 
Jason attended a "double reed" camp there (he played bassoon) but there was no 
way he was going to matriculate there. Tell her to be strong, and to resist 
going over to the dark side...
