I just wonder why the potential for injury wasn't considered when the kickoff line was moved back to the 30.
That was the original reason for moving to the 40. Then they were moved to the 35 because there were too many touchbacks and they wanted the excitement of the KO return put back in the game. Then they moved back to the 30 because there were still too many touchbacks. Now we're back to the 35 because there are too many injuries. Eventually they will probably do away with kickoffs entirely.
