As list moderator I felt that knowing how charged the atmosphere is concerning *anything* that can be construed as political, particularly in an election year, that the picture that was posted could hardly be expected to not draw a snide remark or two.
Since those remarks were relatively tame and didn't lead to a downward spiraling thread that got nasty, I refrained from chastising either group about the off topic and (technically) against the rules posts. Actually, until this post appeared, I thought that it had died of its own accord. In any event, it is now "officially" closed. Beat the Vols!
