Hah!! I was just reading this.
I would not be surprised if UF wound up with the beat ranked class in February.
The Swamp had to be a different kind of place Saturday.

> Swamp Secrets: Flipping?
> -- Notre Dame LB commit Alex Anzalone told Blue and Gold Illustrated,
> 247Sports' Notre Dame affiliate, that he was attending LSU-Florida game this
> past weekend as a fan. As we reported Saturday, he certainly was acting the
> part of a fan sporting a Gator shirt, giving a few Gator Chomps and even
> helping lead an 'orange and blue' chant in the second half.
>
> The part where the 'fan' excuse seems to lose some credibility are the
> reports that Anzalone has already began sending his paperwork to Florida to
> be a January enrollee. That obviously doesn't mean he certainly is going to
> UF, but it does mean it is a possibility.
>
> While they are not always the most accurate source, several recruits inside
> the Swamp Saturday stated that they expect Anzalone to flip to Florida after
> talking to him and hearing what he said of the game day experience. Again,
> yet another piece of information point to Anzalone joining Florida's class
> eventually.
>
> -- Another prospect that could make their way to Gainesville for the South
> Carolina game is JuCo OT Trenton Brown. He doesn't believe he will be able to
> make an afternoon kickoff, but if it is a night game he would like to make
> the trip. The one-time Georgia commit maintains he will announce his college
> intentions in November.
>
> -- It's time to accept the fact four-star S Marcell Harris will likely never
> give gushing reviews of any of his trips, nor will he give a trip bad
> reviews. I would not read too much into his quotes. However, look at where he
> has gone. He camped at both Florid and Florida State this summer. He returned
> to Florida to cap off the summer for Friday Night Lights as a spectator. He
> returned again to Gainesville for a relatively secret visit to watch an early
> fall practice. Harris then took official visits to Texas and Oklahoma and
> then only an unofficial visit to Florida this past weekend. There is also
> some talk that he may have stayed around Gainesville Sunday following
> Florida's game against LSU Saturday. He still has official visits to Florida
> State and South Carolina likely coming up, but the Gators still hold an
> official visit in their pocket. Look for them to try to play that card once
> he has burned his other official visits up.

> Gillislee making loud statement
>
> The question was asked with serious intent, and maybe could have delivered a
> slight tongue-in-cheek response. But Will Muschamp's answer was
> straightforward, unwavering, to no surprise. When asked if senior tailback
> Mike Gillislee deserves some recognition in the race for the Heisman Trophy,
> Muschamp didn't even blink:
>
> "We're in the fifth game of the year," he said. "Next question."
>
> Sure it's probably a but premature to discuss such things, but such is the
> nature of college football, where Heisman Trophy candidates are gathered on
> lists before the season even starts. Of course, no one had Cam Newton near
> any list before the 2010 season began, or Robert Griffin III last fall for
> that matter, but the conversation still exists.
>
> Yet there mere fact the question concerning Gillislee's credentials could
> actually be asked with a straight face speaks volumes about what the senior
> from DeLand has accomplished in his first real opportunity to contribute at
> Florida.
>
> Gillislee has been sensational in the first five games, and was the star of
> the show (with some help from his offensive line buddies up front) in the
> stirring 14-6 victory over LSU last Saturday that elevated Florida's profile
> in the national college football landscape.
>
> Gillislee kept pounding away at LSU's vaunted defensive front, carrying the
> ball a career-high 34 times (only two players have had more carries in a game
> for Florida, Errict Rhett's 41 against Georgia in 1993 and Emmitt Smith's 39
> against Alabama in 1987 - Fred Taylor's 43 carries against Penn State in the
> 1998 Citrus Bowl did not count in official records at the time) for 146 yards
> and a pair of touchdowns.
>
> "I just kept pounding the ball and kept on running," Gillislee said. "I felt
> like I was getting stronger. It comes a lot from coach (Jeff) Dillman and his
> strength and conditioning training to keep on fighting and never give up."
