Actually I wouldn't go out there either way. Its a nice enough suburb but the city is more unique. There is a Deanie's downtown, but for po-boys I would recommend Parkway Bakery and Tavern in Mid-City/Faubourg Saint John. Many think it is the best po-boy shop in the city. They have seating (and a bar) but it is sort of take out. If you are looking for something classy in New Orleans I would recommend Clancy's. One of a kind. Have fun!
