I am a little late on this thread but here is a comment on Sonny's. I have eaten at the Waldo Road within the past year and several times at the Sonny's in Inverness. I have to tell you that the one in Inverness is better BBQ. In addition, they have a wonderful special for us old folks. When I am down, I eat there at least 3-4 times a week.Their sliced brisket is very good.
Sonny's may not have the best BBQ in the country, but the Inverness location has the best value, hands down.
