I must admit that this quote scares me a bit. While it's true that it doesn't 
matter what you call if the players don't execute, it is also true that it 
doesn't matter how well they execute if the defense knows exactly what you're 
going to do. How about if they start thinking about plays AND players? I'm sure 
he doesn't mean it to be as simplistic as it sounds, but I'd feel much better 
if the things he says are wrong were at least similar to the things that 
everyone else thinks are wrong. 

I do like the idea of giving the OL fixed assignments, though. If there is one 
group on the team that has shown they cannot handle complex assignments, it's 
them. If they're not thinking as much, perhaps they'll be able to focus on 
blocking someone. Anyway, whatever they do with the kids, I think they 
absolutely need to think about plays and about designing and calling plays that 
are less predictable.
