Your right, Oliver, Will has some potential. I'll salute it every time I see it. And, I have seen some. One area he has to readjust his vision is to stop attacking his customers. Every successful person must know who his customers are. For college football customers they are: student football athletes, fans, paying Boosters, adminstrators. Telling fans not to tell him how to run the team may be intellectually correct, but functionally, you do not reject feedback from your customers. You do not tell them to 'shut up.' Polishing rough edges, reorienting attitudes, learning to communicate, coordinating a winning staff...it's a big job requiring a big person. Hope it's him. I'm glad I'm not his mentor.
