That was my question. He's not impressing me.

Why isn't the new strength coach under scrutiny too?...injuries-wise, we
probably had the worst year ever!

Actually FSU won 12 games last year, 10-2 in the regular season, won the ACC
title game and Bowl game, then lost 6 assistants..No one had any idea Jameis
Winston was a Superstar in waiting, this time last year the FSU faithful
were worried, UF had just physically dominated them, they were losing their
QB and 6 assistants and Jimbo had the nasty habit of losing to inferior
teams like NC State.

Didn't Spurrier hire Bob Stoops and win a National Title the 1st year ?? I
think he replaced Bob Pruitt who was not a favorite among UF fans. After
Stoops left, SOS hired John Hoke who may have cost a shot at a National
Title in 2001.

Cam Cameron made a huge difference this year at LSU.

My feeling is, if Muschamp had been fired today, I would have been okay with
that, but since he's not, I'm for getting the best assistants we can and
hope for the best instead of worrying about why it won't work, I choose to
think about why it will work.

But they have a once in a lifetime player, and didn't they win 11 games last
year?

I don't mean to be obtuse, but I don't see how this is the solution. We
have seen new coordinators come in and keep the ball rolling, but I don't
recall anyone turning it around in one year.

FSU did have to replace 6 assistant coaches after last season, this year
they are undefeated and likely will be playing for a National Title...I know
it's not the same, but that kind of turnover is unusual for a team that goes
12-0..

Can you provide an example of where this has worked? I can think of Texas
and their D coordinator this year, but the replacement was a 'consultant'
already on staff and they didn't change terminology or the play book.
