They looked really good in this game, although admittedly Ole Miss isn't
the cream of the SEC crop. That being said, last year's team would have
either not won the game or barely won it. It was interesting to hear the
color commentator for the SEC Network yesterday during the game (she was an
ex-coach, can't recall the name)...she said that even though only having
eight available certainly has its disadvantages, at least with this limited
number every player knew their role and wasn't worried about playing
time". She said it certainly gave UF a better opportunity to develop solid
team chemistry.

Antoinette Bannister was outstanding in this game - she's only just been
back for her second game since the thumb surgery on her shooting hand in
December, and it looks like she's got her shot back. If only Christin
Mercer hadn't done such a stupid thing (being the driver, willingly or
not, for a robbery), this team would be so much better.

There's a tall Slovenian girl (can't remember the name) that plays for the
UF soccer team, apparently she has played basketball in her past and Becky
Burleigh has allowed her to practice and potentially play with the
basketball team as well. So maybe there'll be not only a fresh set of legs
to send out there soon, but a big tall body as well.
