I think it takes away from the charm of college football. Less one's school's unique chants/songs, more generic, run-of-the-mill stadium anthems. How boring is it to hear "We Will Rock You", "Crazy Train", "Thunderstruck" and that one techno song "Sandstorm" that everyone plays? Blah.
