I would agree Kerwin probably not quite ready yet but He would be a great hire as an assistant for any new HC. A couple former Gator players have also supported him last year for the OC job.

Ok, so he was a grad assistant for SOS for one year before going to the CFL. I don't think he is what we are looking for, but I would love to bring him in to learn under a HC with experience. He may some day be exactly what we need, but I just don't see how he is ready now... _____ From: Joseph <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Monday, November 17, 2014 1:38 PM Subject: [gatortalk] Re: Let the speculation games begin ONE coach who could step in and BUILD us back to the top......KERWIN BELL. He's built the J'ville team from nothing to a winning program. He's 57-33 in 8 seasons.(Only two losing years!)He knows the UF program. He's at the right age range to have a nice long term stay.He and Roper would make a pretty good offensive pairing.Bell knows what it takes to be a GATOR---remember,he was a walk on to begin with. WHY take a chance on someone who is comfy at their current school?Stoops isn't leaving.Freeze isn't leaving.Forget Mullen.Go with the BEST option right down the road!
