You are only allowed 10 coaches.  What Alabama does is hire a slew of people in 
the Athletic Department with titles like player development or football 
analyst.  This way, they effectively add 10-15 extra coaches who can't work 
directly with players, but do a lot of film work and 'teach' some football 
coaching classes...
