I didn't remember him being a GA for the Gators; not sure if that was even a factor in his consideration. Can't help but think his connection to Armwood may have been, though (Coach Mac said in at least one interview that UF should essentially own recruiting in Tampa). For those who don't know: Kirk is the son of Armwood HS's highly successful head coach, Sean Callahan.
