I suspect tha they will end up with an ARD with their record expunged assuming that they hurt nothing and were just drunk and climbed up in the cab or climbed up the boom. If the actually tried to operate the crane, then things are more serious.
I wonder how many of us have done similar things and were fortunate enough to have an understanding policeman, or were just lucky not to get caught? I have done dumb stuff like this and I wasn’t drinking. (I may have been on the last “pantie raid” at my school. After we got caught, they made it quite clear that it really wasn’t funny nor appropriate and they let everyone know that it was to be the last in history! Not long afterward they made coed dorms and it kind of took the challenge out of it anyway.
