I don’t get that. Nor do I get running halfway down the third base line to “slap hit” the ball.
What is that all about? I still like softball. Don’t get me wrong, but I just don’t get the rules yet. Take out the pitcher, then bring her back in? Just what inning is this thing supposed to end? After 7? 8? 9? Last night was extra innings, I get that. But I’ve seen a couple of games go 8. Pinch runner and the hitter comes back in?
