I believe MacElwain is thinking that. He’s the most important one… The offensive line is getting better. We now appear to have settled on a quarterback.
The defense is incredible! We have a lot to look forward to. It's really not good enough to get just one more point when you are playing one of the weaker teams in the conference. It's not just 'nice' to get more drives converted, it is essential, or the next five games won't be pretty. The offense is about where, I think, most of us expected them to be, but I sure don't want the players to be complacent with that level of play. I would feel much better if I heard something like... It was nice to get the win, but we must work hard to improve so we can score when we need more points to win a game. You really have to give a lot of credit to the defense for pulling that thing out for us,” McGee said. “As an offense, we just need to score one more than them. It would have been nice to get a few more drives converted, but nice to get the win. -- -- GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions 2008 National Football Champions | Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GatorTalk" group.
