Kind of a mixed bag, their schedule. Win vs. Wisconsin was of decent quality, even though Wisconsin wasn't ranked. Robert Morris, not quality for sure. FSU was #6 or #7 in the country when the Gators beat them. This may be a better indicator: their RPI is currently 36.
The team has been receiving votes; if they keep this up, they should crack the polls. I'm hoping that win over FSU is a preview for things to come, but we really won't know until conference play, where South Carolina is #2, Kentucky #8, Tennessee is #14, TAMU is #18, and Missouri & Georgia join UF in the "receiving votes" section. I will say this: the energy on this team is high and they do appear to build confidence every week. They're pretty fun to watch. Ronni Williams still has foul troubles, but she's no longer the only player for other teams to worry about, plus the team finally has a deep bench. I'm not saying they're going to win the SEC but maybe they'll have some surprises in store for fans this year.
