I guess Florida Gym is not available to play volleyball in? It sure has more
than 700 seats.

What’s it being used for now?

The Lemerand Athletic Center will be the home of Florida volleyball while the
O'Connell Center continues a $64.5 million renovation.

With a capacity of about 700 in the Lemerand Athletic Center Gym, 2016 Florida
volleyball tickets will be the hottest ticket in town, and the intimate
atmosphere will be second-to-none.

"Gator volleyball will be the must-have ticket this fall so I encourage Florida
fans to get their orders in early. The venue presents some unique challenges,
but Gator fans have always been there for us in the past," UF coach Mary Wise
said. "We look forward to making the Lem every bit as successful as the O'Dome."

Ticket renewals for the Gator Attack Club, 2015 season ticket holders and 2015
Gold & Platinum Card holders will begin at the end of June according to the
schedule below. Tickets are limited and availability is based on priority, and
first come, first served.

The Lemerand was the site for Florida's 3-2 opening round win over Texas Tech
in the 1995 NCAA Championship action, marking the last match played in the
Lemerand during fall-season action.

A total of 12 home Gator volleyball matches this season are scheduled to be
played in the Lemerand, which houses UF's three practice gyms, an equipment
room, a training room and locker room that the Orange and Blue currently
utilize to train.

Florida will open play at home with the annual Active Ankle Challenge Friday
and Saturday, Sept. 16-17, in the Lemerand Athletic Center when Jacksonville,
FAMU and Marshall visit Gainesville.
