O'Sullivan has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Texas opening, according to a report from DIBaseball.com's Kendall Rogers. Texas reportedly was set to target O'Sullivan to replace College Baseball Hall of Fame coach Augie Garrido, who was re-assigned within the athletic department last week. O'Sullivan led Florida to four College World Series in his first eight seasons. The nine-year coach has led the Gators to a 50-13 record and the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Gators are hosting Florida State in the Super Regionals this week and are on the brink of appearing in the CWS for the fifth time under O'Sullivan and 10th time in school history.
