Coaching. Plain and simple.  Every returner everywhere is told to put your
heels on the ten and never move back....
But that's not where we lost.

Mcelwain is a feel good coach...  everything feels awesome until there is some
adversity... what has he done?
We've always been the underdog... never had to perform with a lead or as the
favorite.  We can't do it.  We win and it feels good-- we weren't supposed to.
This was fairly even.  Had a big lead.  An O line that was supposed to crush a
questionable d line... but no running game.  We had success, never rode it...
Is butch a better halftime coach?  Looks like it.  Where was our huge 4 headed
running game?  Non existent...  we had a lead... a BIG one.  Never bothered to
grind it out. What was our second half mindset? Do whatever and hope the D
holds up  and the other team gives up?  Neither happened.  As an o##ensive
coach, you can't hope your D wins the ge for you... u have to produce.
Something.
Lead GONE.  In 15 minutes.  Gone.
Butch outcoached JIm at halftime.  UT outplayed UF in the 3rd quarter. Game
over. 4th quarter was inconsequential. We lost an entire game in one quarter
after winning a half.  Coaching.
Love Mcelwain.  But he has to learn this is not the mountain conference.
Defense has to play 4 quarters.  They didn't. Did they suddenly suck or was the
second half game plan flawed?  Did we even have a game plan for a 17 point lead?
Coaching.
We are not out of it.  UT has some tough games ahead.  Hopefully mcelwain
learns something, the team learns something, and we start playing like the
underdog again
I love an underdog....no one fights harder.

We looked like two different teams. It's been a long time since I've seen a
second half collapse like that. Who are these guys and what did they do with
the Gators at half-time? And what's with Calloway twice calling fair catch at
the 1?

What say you now?  We SUPPOSEDLY had a huge advantage in running the ball...
anyone seen it?

So far, I say give Doug Nussmeier any amount of money he wants if he will stay
at UF.
