Florida coach Mike White said he felt Hill and Chiozza’s pressure on the ball made it difficult for Georgia to get into its halfcourt offense in the second half. — Florida continues to show maturity at the free-throw line, making 13 of 16 to help pull away from Georgia in the second half. Two big ones came from Florida center John Egbunu to put Florida up 61-50 with 5:12 left. It began a stretch of six straight free throws that continued with two in a row from point guard Kasey Hill and two in a row from the always reliable Canyon Barry, who has now made 35 straight. — Florida redshirt freshman Keith Stone was rusty shooting the ball in his return from sitting out two games with a viral illness, going 0 of 4 from the floor and air-balling a 3. But the 6-foot-8 Stone helped in other ways, grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing an assist on a Barry 3-pointer. Stone played 15 minutes because with Justin Leon in foul trouble, White needed to go with a bigger body to defend Georgia forwards Yante Maten and Derek Ogbeide inside.
