*Cristian Garcia - R. Sr. - Linebacker* [image: Cristian Garcia] Cristian, first and foremost, is a hero who has been recognized by the Gainesville Police Department and by former Vice President Joe Biden where he was honored at the inaugural "Its On Us" Courage Awards for stepping up to prevent a sexual assault last summer. Garcia, who is from Miami and originally walked on as a Gator, is doing some good things on the field as well. He first saw the field in the Buffalo Wild Wings bowl vs. the same team that chose to pick a school color based on a vegetable and we meet again to start this upcoming season. Last season, he played in all 13 games and with his first career start in the Capital One Bowl vs. Iowa where he recorded a career high five tackles.
