*Johnny Townsend - R. Sr. - Punter*

Ok... I can finally get something off my chest. Because you know I am so
good at holding my opinions and keeping thoughts to myself.

Someone has a lot of explaining to do when a guy:
- is *r**anked first in the nation* with a 47.9 yard average on 64 punts
for the season
- had *29 punts of 50+ yards* and 27 punts inside the 20 yard line
- had a 51.9 yard average on seven punts with five inside the 20 yard line
and a long of 62 yards (vs. Vanderbilt)

That is just from last season alone but he doesn't win the Ray Guy Award
for best punter? That is absolutely ludicrous and unfortunately our
beloved Gator punter, Johnny Townsend, was robbed of the award last
season. Townsend, who comes from a family of Gators, is in his Senior
season and if he has anywhere near the kind of stats he put up last year,
the Ray Guy Award committee had better be paying better attention this
season.

Not to mention he looks like he is ready to run for Governor. Seriously.

GET THIS MAN A STATUE!!!

Here are some other career stats for Mr. Townsend:

*Punts: *9 (3x, last vs. Florida State, 2015)
*Punting Yds: *418 (Florida State, 2015)
*Punting Avg: *55.2 (North Texas, 2016)
*Punting Long: *62 (2x, last vs. Bama, 2016)
