Yeah, we will never know whether anyone could have landed CK, but it was his job to do that and he failed to accomplish it. He needs to succeed with Frost or we will start to be seen like Tennessee... unable to attract our top candidates. He was unable to convince CK that we are a more attractive option than UCLA. He absolutely must convince Frost that we are more attractive than Nebraska... not because there aren’t other excellent coaches out there, but because it hurts our prestige to be turned down by all our top prospects. Strickland would like to pretend that the process is private, but it appears that everyone knows who we are trying for as we approach each candidate.
