I read a very sad story about Scot's health the other day. His wife says he has Alzheimer's at age 60 and is in a pretty bad way. Additionally he's had a couple of strokes and heart problems. His claim for compensation has been turned down by the NFL. I had to refresh my memory about his time at UF when he was knocked unconscious in the 1st game of 1979 and never played another game for UF . He was advised to give up football but found a doctor that cleared him and of course went on to play several years in the NFL.
