Injuries mostly. Mayra Pelayo was missing for a few games and then got hurt, Parker Roberts is out for the year, Rachelle Smith got injured, Melanie Monteagudo is hurt and might be out for the year (?), Deanne Rose, our star striker was with the Canadian National Team and when returned was hobbled some.
This recent FSU game they played pretty well in spite of being out-talented by the Noles, but once Lais Araujo (sp?) got red carded in the last 10+ minutes, their already-weak offense had no chance to score while out-manned.
