A meeting on the Lucknow arrests is planned for tomorrow at Humsafar, at 5.30 pm. This meeting is courtesy Sunday High which has agreed to defer its planned film screening in view of the urgency of this case (perhaps the film could be shown after for those who really want it?).
We'll be talking about the case, about the facts that seem to be emerging - Ashok has been speaking directly to people in Lucknow - and talking about what the possible consequences could be and what action, if any, could be taken. We have been getting lots of calls from people asking about this case, about what could be done, what risk they might be facing and what the implications for other gay events, whether on or off the Net. This will be the place to talk about it and get your questions answered, to the extent that clear answers are possible.
