According to IANA, the port isn't assigned to anything. Portdb.org and SANS
don't have anything either. If I had to guess, I'd say high port sweeps for
Sun RPC, but those should run 32xxx or higher, so how knows? What's the
source? Are they part of a subnet scan? Post your logs or send them to
on-duty handler at SANS....

Ok.. It sounds familiar but I can't place it.  Anyone know anything about
port 31845/tcp?  I keep getting sweeps looking for it from different IP
