Remote users used the 'IBM Gloval Network' as an ISP, and desktop support
personnel configured a 'Connection Document' which contained the IP address
of the SMTP server. With this in place, remote users could access their
Lotus Notes account from anywhere. This is currently not working through
our Gnatbox. We have filters/tunnels for ports 25 and 1352, and everything
I have read so far about Notes and firewalls says you only need to open
port 1352. Also, we used the outside NIC of the firewall as the IP address
in this 'Connection Document', with a tunnel for those 2 TCP ports directly
to the SMTP server. No luck.

Do we have to make our SMTP server IP address visible to the outside world
to make this work? Anyone?

Thanks,
Wayne
