I've been told that the B version has been discontinued and the 'C' version is not shipping. This is also different from the "A" and "B" versions. Send postings to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Access the list archives at: http://www.gnatbox.com/gb-users/ ---------------------------------- Both cards are supported, however they are very different beasts. Although the difference in the models is simply the letter "B" the chipsets are entirely different. Many ethernet card manufacturers have pull this little trick, I guess it saves them some money since they don't need to make new boxes, literature, etc. GNAT Box network card drivers are based on the chipsets rather than the card models. There are drivers that take certain variations into account, but generally it is based on the the values returned from the initial hardware probe at boot time. The 3c905B is supported in 3.x, in fact this card is used in the GB-100 appliance box. Paul > >Does anyone know if GNAT Box works with the 3Com 3C509B or just with the >original 3C509?
