I have GB 2.2.0 (full) and am experiencing some minor DNS problems.
I have DNS set in GB to point to the server of my ISP (on Ext), however, when doing pings and trace routes GB refuses to resolve names. Also when I enable "Attempt to resolve host names", it will not. When I set up an internal DNS server (on Pro) then GB will resolve names with pings, but "Attempt to resolve host names" still does not work. Is it safe to assume that in order for DNS to work, the server must be on either Pro or PSN? NDLookup from behind the firewall is unaffected. My second question is regarding Aliases. My Ext is set DHCP and most of the tile I keep the same IP address. But about once every few months my IP will change. How can I set it up so I don't have to change any rules? I have a few rules that will allow UDP from a given IP to my Ext IP (mask 255.255.255.255). How will these look after the changes? Thirdly.... Are there any updates after 2.2.0? If so, how can I get them? Thanks for any help.
