I'm newly using GB lite and its working just great with two $7.50 SMC ISA lan cards on
a 486/80MHz 20 meg ram I get absolutely no perceptable performance hit from using GB,
it still flies along at 430kbytes.sec using ftp.

One minor problem I have found is that if I go to www.amazon.com to buy on-line it
takes me to port 443 for the secure link but then tries to swap the ip using the open
ports for another IP from amazon's domain. Using the default filters this causes
alarms...

I'm wondering if someone can help me set up filtering so that it will let any IP
within a domain that has opened ports, say C class mask 255.255.255.0, use the already
opened ports. And also just how much will I compromise security by this. (I guess I
may be being a little paranoid even asking)

Maybe someone can point me to some extra documentation on how to set up the filters.
I've read the manual but I need more examples or explanation to get me up to full
speed.

Anyone have any comments or pointers?

Thanks, Jonny
