Unfortunately the only way to utilize any Directplay/DirectX games
(Ashertons Call is one of them) you must setup a tunnel and allow these
ports in;

2300-2400 UDP
2300-2400 TCP
47624 TCP
47624 UDP
28800-28900 UDP

I managed to get some DirectPlay/DirectX games to work with only 2300-2400
TCP&UDP open, but it depends on the game.

Interestingly enough though I have several reports that Ashertons call works
through a Linux NAT box with out any port forwarding, wonder why? Must not
have any blocking turned on?

Has anyone sucessully got the game Asheron's call to
work through their Gnatbox? This game is on the MSN
Gaming Zone and uses quite a few TCP/UDP ports. There
are several MS Technet articles about using MSN Gaming
Zone/Asheron's Call via a firewall/proxy server
(q240429, q238325, q236430 and q159031) but nothing I
tried seemed to work. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks In Advance
TG
