I forsee future features taking advantage of more RAM, hence why I like to 
have it on tap.  When I built my current gnatboxes I put 128 in them all as 
it was dirt cheap.

Yes, but I'd rather have that 500 Mhz where its more likely to be needed 
than in a 10 user office sharing a DSL connection.

We pay about $4k per month for a 10 mbit fiber drop to a DS3 we share with 
our building.  We can move some serious packets : )

I don't consider a faster processor a risk as long as the board will support 
it.

This puts a serious damper on my purchase.  I just put a request in to my 
reseller to get me info.  I do not want to put all the work into swapping in 
a GB-100 if the 1000 will be out next week, or even next month.
