The best way I think, is to use the admin program to save the configuration of the old gnatbox disk, then megre it with the new runtime files from the new version and create a disk from that.
I don't know what would cause the problem with rebooting, but I've had a lot of practice making new disks since we put 3.0.3 in and ours started rebooting itself every few days.
