Hi,
Let me apologize in advance, I know this question is from left field:

I am implementing a VPN between branch offices. I have a GB Pro here and
a GB1000 at one branch. That VPN is working fine.

As I bring up the remaining branches, I'm evaluating hardware and I see that
CISCO 1720 VPN product can eliminate extraneous equipment (CSU/DSU) and can
also provide 3DES encryption for a VPN and it even includes their firewall
software: Cisco Secure Integrated Software (formerly the Cisco IOS
Firewall).
They also say it does IKE, DHCP, NAT, QoS, and most other cool acronyms ;)

So...
(1) Is their VPN compatible with GB?
(2) Is their firewall system any good?
(3) Do I NEED to buy a GB1000 *AND* a CISCO 1720 for each branch?

Any thoughts, experiences, or opinions?

Thanks,
Mark
