A good configuration of the firewall and Internal e-mail server works wonders.
Ok, there is only so much anyone can do, but where I work, I've configured the firewall to allow Internet bound e-mail only through our mail server and a content filter that guarantees any messages that have the questionable e-mail addresses in the `To:` header. Virus scanning, good firewall configuration and enforcement of company policy will do the trick.
