i allow this in my soho in a very limited way.  i have an intel 2100 
wireless AP.  my wife's PC and my neighbor's LAN all use intel 2100 PCI 
wireless cards to access the LAN.  the only thing I allow is WINS 
access.  i know it's not perfect, but it's better than giving them 
unfettered access :)
