I've stumbled into a bit of an odd situation, and I was hoping someone here
has worked around it.

I've got a Gnatbox with two total interfaces. A PRO and a EXT. The PRO has
a single 10.x subnet, and EXT has two subnets. Currently, all of the
aliases are on the primary EXT subnet (a /24), so their alias netmask is
255.255.255.255. However, when I add an alias from the second subnet it
says that they are on two logical networks, and shouldnt be using
255.255.255.255.

So, citing the manual ("If you create an alias that resides on the same
logical network as the the primary IP for the selected nic, you must use a
netmask of 255.255.255.255"). It doesn't say what to do if it's not though,
so I would assume you use that network's actual subnet. After all, it has
to get that info somewhere. However, even after changing it to that
network's subnet (255.255.255.240), the mappings don't work. However, the
verify config doesn't toss any alias problems ...

Any ideas? Thanks a bundle,

Jonathan
