Hi,

I recently downloaded gnatbox light 3.0.3 installed it on my little
network here at home, but can't seem to get it to work.

Here's the setup:

I have gnat box running on a Pentium machine with a Linksys LNE2000 10Mb
eithernet card and a internal modem sitting on com1

All the protected mode stuff works. i.e. from the gnat box I can ping
my other clients, the web interface works!

I want the gnat box to connect to my ISP via the 56K modem on com1
The modem is not a WinModem, if I go to a DOS prompt I can have it dial
by piping commands to the com port!

For some reason I can't get it to dial out. also I get a couple of
errors on the message screen.

1. FILTER: Remote access filter blocks: UDP ed1
[192.0.0.254/53]->[192.0.0.1/1027] l=24.

192.0.0.254 is a machine trying to ping out the the
Internet....192.0.0.1 is the gnat box.

According to the documentation all outbound traffic should be allowed.
At least I think, I did see something about adding a remote access
filter, but the documentation was a bit vauge.

2. PPP: Warning: Add route failed: default alredy exists.

Now, I think this comes from the default route setting, and I'm not sure

what I'm supposed to put in there. I want the gnat box to connect to my

ISP, and I need to get DHCP'd from them, after the DHCP the machine
(gnat) should have it's default route...correct? So what do I put in
there????? Again the documentation was a bit vauge.

Thanks much,
