I had a rather strange problem recently that involved V3.1.2 on a GB1000

Basically the Protected Network had been talking to the DMZ/PSN networks OK
and then delays started to become apparent which only affected that
environment, and worsened the more load the GB1000 was under.

Rebooting had no effect, I used a spare GB1000 and imported the
configuration then put it into service - it ran fine on the spare box. I
then reloaded the config onto the 1st GB1000 and put that back in as the
primary unit - it ran fine there as well.

It appeared that the in memory configuration was somehow corrupt - though it
never manifested itself in any way but that described above.

Additional info - it was a GB1000, running 3.1.3s. Have since reset to
factory defaults, setup our IP addresses and it seems to be ok. Only
think I can think of is that the original config files somehow got
corrupted. If anyone can shed any further light?

TIA

Guy
