I have not tried to use ICQ2000A.  So I will not comment at this time on 
how it works, or how to get it to work correctly.  I will leave that to 
others who like using ICQ.

However, I had to comment on the Port Ranges from Chris.  If you open a 
range of ports from 1024-65535 TCP and allow connections from any IP 
number, you are in effect removing the firewall.  This is very insecure.

I recommend you read Mr. Hollands post from Wed, 28 Jun 2000.  I found it 
very interesting and very accurate.
