Title: RE: Spam E-mail

It could be that you are the BlindCC recipient based on a mailing list.

If you look at the actual header of the message you may be able to determine more.

More and more lists are sending messages "To" a bogus address or themselves and
BlindCC'ing everyone in their mailing list.

The "To" line that you see in your email has little or
nothing to do with the Address/Domain that the email
was delivered to.

Consider the following example.  I telnet'd into the
SMTP port of my own mailserver.  In this example, the
mail will be delivered to  [EMAIL PROTECTED]  (the rcpt to),
but the email client will show that it was sent to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (the "To:" line in the "Data" segment).
The email server doesn't typically look at the Data
segment -- that's left to the email client.  There is
nothing that says that anything in the Data segment
has to match anything in the  helo,  mail from,  or
mail to  segments.
